Disable and Enable Partition

Dear all
I have a hardware which have 3 partition
C: is win98
D: is winXP ntfs
E: is fat data

How can i disable the partition E, that win98 can not be access or detect it
but i don't want to delete all the data in E,

Simplest is to convert it to ntfs. (Use the 'convert' command in XP.

You can do this with:

and it does partitioning, makes a compressed image, does many other
partitioning chores and is a boot manager. It is not quite as easy to use
as Partition Magic but it is half the cost and has more features. Unlike
