Default Java

whenever I try to go on a site with java stuff on it
nothing happens and i've tried re-installing java so many
times with no such luck. All it shows is the border around
where the java is supposed to be and a small box in the
top-left of the screen with a circle, square, and a
triangle. for a pic:
http://members.shaw.ca/firexiv/miniclip.jpg

Internet Options:
Java (Sun)
-Checked box- Use Java 2 v1.4.2_05 for applet (requires
restart)

Java VM
-Unchecked box- Java console enabled (requires restart)
-Unchecked box- Java logging enabled
-Checked Box- JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled
(requires restart)

I tried unchecking java sun and checking everything under
java VM but still nothing. I also tried deleting my cache.

i've tried the faq at java.com but nothing either :/
someone please help
thankyou

The web site you cite doesn't show for me either.

I wouldn't sweat it. I'm sure its a bug in the web page not your PC software.

Go here to see if you have functional Javascript and Java -
Can I See Java? - Test your browser:
http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm

Also, please provide the link you are having trouble with.

Try using another browser such as Opera with java support
from http://www.opera.com/ or Mozilla Firefox from
http://www.mozilla.org/.
