Every time I restart the PC, I get the following error
message "pgmonitr has caused and error in pgdsk.dll." Any
suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks.

The error message means that you've got spyware installed on your PC and would
probably benefit from running either or both of AdAware and/or SpyBot.

PGSDK.DLL
You probably have Promulgate spyware installed on your system as a result of
installing a P2P file sharing program. Have you got the Delfin Media Player
from http://www.delfinproject.com on your system? This is spyware often
associated with installing Kazaa and is often implicated in the error messages
you are seeing. If present I would suggest you dump Delfin Media Player.

Since you have one such unwelcome guest on your PC I would recommend you
download yourself a copy of the free Ad-Aware 6.0 from Lavasoft
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and also SpyBot
Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/) and use them to check your
system for other commercial parasites remembering that they are only as good
as when you last updated their reference files. I also use a program called
BHODemon (http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm that checks for
unwanted Browser Help Objects and SpywareBlaster
(http://www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.html) which can help prevent
some parasites getting a grip on your PC.
