<.....JAVA Script????.....>

I have the ME operating system in mt machine.
Since yesterday, whenever I launch the IE, I get to the
Web Page but it seems that I get stuck there, especially
if there was Java Script involved; May be.
For instance if I go to a web page and I am asked to
activate a switch so that a player may be downloaded so
that I can hear the Radio Station, nothing happens.
Can somebody help me.
I don't really know what to do.
