Unable to copy data to CD- Win ME
Hello
I have Win ME I have Adaptec DirectCD on my system. It will not format my new CD RW’s, I cannot move files onto the CDs or copy to or create to them as errors always occur. When I try to move files it says ‘cannot create or replace access is denied and to make sure the disc is not full or write protected and also is not in use’. When I format an error screen flashes up very quickly and goes again - it says something like ‘illegal operation’. Any help would be appreciated. Also not sure if its to do with the above but my system crashes and I get the following message lately:- ‘System resources are dangerously low’. Yet I have plenty of room left. Any ideas? Without losing me in the science. lol I have been using my PC a lot lately for work - much more stuff on then usual. So if I am low on resources I thought that moving items to CDs would benefit - but I can’t!! Regards Suzanna |

You should also try 'burning' at a slower speed. Mart "Suzanna" wrote in message ... Hello I have Win ME I have Adaptec DirectCD on my system. Aside from Mart's suggestions go to the URL at end of this for Roxio Help
Chat sites, Register for your version, and pose remaining issues. On Ver 5 chat the Pinned "Frequent Answers" tells you how to best ask the question. Check for that on any you select. You didn't say which Ver of Easy CD Creator you have - Early versions 4 & 5 have conflicts with Media Player, Real Player, etc. Good Luck! http://forums.support.roxio.com/inde...showf orum=26 |

Quite apart from the fact that this thread is three months old (and the OP
never in this thread), - I also responded to the OP in her other post on the same subject in .multimedia - and she was unable to follow instructions there, and never responded to the later posts in that thread. In view of the fact that I am having difficulty working out what you actually are trying to advise, I suspect that the OP would have no hope whatever - assuming she could ever work out that you are referring to her post, which has long since disappeared from most servers (but seemingly not from the MS CDO server, although it doesn't appear on the NNTP servers!) -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2006, Windows) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.crashfixpc.com/millsrpch.htm http://tinyurl.com/6oztj Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's "Craig S" wrote in message ...
