Help
My friend has a problem when switching on all he gets is this message Windows/System32/config/system Repair disc He got the machine seconhand and does not have the original installation disc. Alan

Can you give an exact message?
C:\Windows\System32 is a little used folder in Win98 and C:\Windows\System32\config\system is not a standard folder. Check in Msconfig for any oddities. (Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab) If you cannot see anything in Msconfig then: Start-Run-msinfo32 Click the + beside Software Environment to expand. Click Startup Programs Ctrl+A to Select All, Ctrl+C to Copy.
