my machine is tired
My computer began to start and shut down very slowly, and
the hard drive is "working" for several minutes upon opening before it lets me open anything. When I try to log off or shut down, it takes several minutes before I get a dialog box that says "Win 95 RPC Wmsg Warning", "This program is not responding". I have to close this out prior to shutting down. I think that I may have accidentally deleted something. Please help!!! |

Update your anti-virus app and then run a full-system virus scan.
Check Control Panel Add\Remove Programs for Gator, Webhancer, Web 3000, Delfin, or Promulgate, and uninstall them if found. Install Ad-Aware 6 free edition, start it, click its 'Check for Updates' link in the app to install updates, then use it to scan your system, and remove what it finds. Ad-Awa http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ Install, update and run SpyBot Search & Destroy, scan your system, and then remove the items in RED only.
