Hardly necessary I think since there are more than enough who know there
way around Win Me's system restore posting to these newsgroups. In fact I
doubt that aumha has any Win Me SR specialists posting there.

This was just an announcement sort of thing, Mike.
Not that AumHa is short of business or to grab-traffic from here.
If you read some of the threads you'd be surprised what we have for qualified
folks - again not taking from here g

May I remind you that blatant soliciting in these newsgroups such as your
first post is seriously frowned upon by Microsoft. It's called spamming.
Making reference to another site as part of a reply is obviously
acceptable such as when advising someone to run HJT and post their log to
the aumha forum but not soliciting for posts such as yours otherwise the
newsgroups will be full of adverts from 24Hour Helpdesk, Expert Exchange,
etc. etc.

Further and at the risk of repeating myself there is no-one contributing
to aumha who has the practical experience of working with Win Me's system
restore that is found amongst the posters to the Microsoft Win Me
newsgroups.

Goodbye, Mike

I have enjoyed posting here since I was an amateur user.
You leave me no choice based on your rank arrogance and
lack or /real/ thought as to your reply.

See you in another dimension, perhaps, not here!
Any reply back will fall on deaf ears, perhaps not to other users
but to me, yes, since I will not be subscribed to this NG!

What an unfortunate turn of events.
Sorry for the experience.

Harry.

Agreed, unfortunate, when people like Mike get precious and anal, at the the
same time.
IMHO

Goodbye, Mike

Thank God for that if that means the end of your pointless posts about
updates for Adaware and Spybot.

See you in another dimension,

Not if I see you first.

I will not be subscribed to this NG!

Hurrah! At last.

Not precious or anal but just pointing out that advertising is frowned
upon in these groups.

I was not going to comment on these threads. However, I will. This is
adressed to the NG - not to any individual, so please do not reply with
sarcastic and classless remarks.

On a profesional level, it is absolutely unnecessary to patronize another
individual like Silj. I really don't find a quotesoliticingunquote
post(s) in this particular issue. Let's keep in mind and be real, all the
answers are not found in this NG. It's a good resource to have, yet there
are a lot of other great resources out there. I'd just like to close by
saying "treat others with respect as you would expect to be treated."
As an outside observer I would expect a kind apology for such mistreatment
to such dedicated individual.
