Windows protection error

When starting the computer, after the windows 98 screen I
receive "Windows Protection Error, Please press any key to
restart your computer"
The computer has just received a new motherboard and CPU.

No I cant save in safe mode. I see a black screen on
start up with "Windows Protection Error, Please press any
key to
restart your computer"
