Hi,

I keep getting a error message that pops up while I am
working in Windows 98 SE. The message is "MSBB caused an
invalid page fault in module kernell 32 ddl at
017f:bff7a338". Can someone please provide some
information or resolution on how to eliminate this error
message.

Thanks,
Paul

This response is a couple of years old but should give you some idea.

MSBB
It is spyware, probably installed with Songspy or similar.
Uncheck the MSBB entry in your
startup (Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab)

You can use this to find any other spyware you have:
Ad-Awa http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
Be aware that if you remove some of the files and entries then the
"free" program that came with the spyware probably will not work.

This refers to a different OS, but the cause may be the same:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];317714
You receive an "Msbb.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
error message when you are using n-CASE by 180Solutions, Inc.
Other possibilities a
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];320162
Internet Explorer stops responding or the home page takes a long time to
open
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];299964
The "Fatal Error: Could not Create Socket" Error Message Is Displayed When
Starting Windows

IMHO you are better off without any of this software.
