Win.98 start up disk

Bought used compaq computer. Everything removed. Trying
to install win.98 as the op.system. Unable to locate
start up disk. Downloaded one from microsoft, still no
luck. I would be greatful for any advice.

somewhere convenient like the desktop, put in a fresh
floppy, click the file and the startup files will extract
to the floppy. Theres your startup disk :-)

You can make a floppy boot disk with the Fat32ebd.exe file located on the
W98 CD: tools/mtsutil/fat32ebd or you can download one he
