Default spybot question

can't get help from the people at spybot so i was wondering if this
newsgroup could help me
sorry if i shouldn't be posting this here but i didn't know where to look or
who to ask and since my operating system is windows me i thought what the
heck

spybot works fine until the end
i check all boxes
i click fix selected problems

message reads
spybotsd has caused an error in kernall.dll
program closes

did a complete uninstall and reinstall
same problem
did a system restore
same problem

can someone please help me

The gurus that can help are fast asleep (live in England).....but they
will be here in a couple of hours.

Download CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com, and use the Issues feature after
uninstalling Spybot. Make sure you nuke the Spybot folder in Program
Files. THEN reinstall Spybot.

Default spybot question

hi heather and alias and dave

everyday while i'm sleeping i run my superantispyware program automatically
no problems found

i don't know what i did to get this error message in spybot after using it
constantly for many years

what will running ccleaner do
is ccleaner better than spybot

had it wrong dave
it isn't kernall.dll it is kernall32.dll
forgot the 32

That's been my feeling from the gitgo Joan as I have never heard of kernall32.dll while
kernel32.dll is the Windows Core Kernel of the Win32 OS.

just finished running avast

i completely uninstalled spybot including remains in the registry

would like to continue using spybot since it served me well for all these
years until now

what about the ccleaner alias mentioned

Please submit a sample of kernall32.dll to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition, unless told
otherwise, Virus Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.

You can also submit a suspect, one at a time, via the following email URL...
?subject=SCAN

When you get the report, please post back the exact results.

i reinstalled spybot using v. 1.4.0.3 then doing an update
after a couple of trial runs program works fine so far

v. 1.5.2 and my computer did not get along or that version has a problem

think i should still send info to the link below
