Thanks Dan, When I go to places like facebook they request updating to the latest Flash Player to get some videos. Evidently I can't view them. Maybe I will need to use some tricks to get them. I need to know those tricks. Angel |

I see no spam here in this newsgroup. If you see spam, then it's because the method or server by which you are reading this group is not performing any spam filtering. If you are using google groups (which you seem to be) then you really should do yourself a favor and use a proper news-reader program and connect to a proper usenet server. At the very least, use outlook express and point it to the news.aioe.org server. No registration required, and no spam. And by the way, Angel is using the aioe server and outlook express. My post, with the subject "Modified Flash DLL available here (makes Flash 9 look like Flash 10)" made on June 23, is still available on the aioe server. |

Will NOT use MS OE ever again! Bite your tongue. Curse be gone, ptuii. I mentioned OE because it's (usually) what most people already have on their system. I personally have never used OE. For usenet and pop3 email, I use the old Netscape Communicator 4.79 program. It can be downloaded from he http://aol-4.vo.llnwd.net/pub/commun...l/cc32d479.exe It's a 22 mb file. Thus, just live with spam, and look 'around' it Absolutely no reason to do that. Give Communicator a try. It's dead simple to use, it's fast, and it makes usenet a breeze to experience. Note: Every time it's started, it tries to open a certain specific default netscape URL in the message pane. If you allow it to attempt that, it will fail after about 30 seconds and netscape will crash. So you'll have to hit the "STOP" button every time navigator is started. There is a registry fix for that, and I can dig it up if you want. |
