Need help running Executive Software Diskeeper 9.0 on Windows 98SE
The only time the DKservice starts up is after the first reboot at the end
of the installation process. After that the service will not start up. Any experience with this program out there? |

Am using 8.0xxx version, home edition. Has worked automatically since installation. Can work it manually as well. Its idiot-proof. Since you're being tight with details such as which edition and any errors etc., tit for tat. |

Didn't ask for it during the install, so it should be okay. The install
program is supposed to check for it's presence and install if required. "Haggis" wrote in message ... "Lil' Dave" wrote in message ... "Warren" wrote in message ... Version 9.0.504 or 9.0.511. The error is that I can't start the
application, simply says it can't find the service, and task manager confirms that DKservice is not running. The only time the application starts properly is after the first reboot after installation. When I shut the computer down for the day and start up the next day, Diskeeper won't start.
