Default Windows 98se Internet Options Question

I want to set Front Page Express as my default HTML editor but when I
go to Internet Options, Programs, all the HTML Editor drop down list
has are Notepad and Microsoft Frontpage Editor.

Can someone tell me how I can get it to show Frontpage Express or how
to set the default HTML editor to Frontpage Express?

Thanks very much for all the help. Appreciate it.

Left click once on an .html file, hold down the shift key and right click,
select open with, click other and browse to FP Express .exe file. Select it
as the program you want to open .html files, mark the "always" box and click
OK.

Default Windows 98se Internet Options Question

OK I did that and now when I double click on an HTM or HTML file it
always opens in Frontpage Express instead of my browser which would be
fine if I wanted to edit every HTM or HTML file when I open it which I
do not.

Thanks for trying though.

Sorry but I guess I have to use it like it is. I am one of these
people that know how to turn system on and start programs or do
something as long as it only involves clicking on a choice or such.
Anything more involved I need a repeirman.

Thanks anyways.

Default Windows 98se Internet Options Question

It is not terribly difficult. First, go to settings, control panel,
add-remove programs and click on the Windows Setup tab. Double click on
Accessories. If there is not a mark in the Windows Scripting Host, mark it,
click OK, click apply, put in the W98 CD and follow the on screen prompts.
If Windows Scripting Host is already marked, cancel your way out of the
control panel.

Next, download the Add New IE5 + Editor script from:
http://www.billsway.com/vbspage/ It is in a .zip file so you will need a
program like WinZip ( www.winzip.com for a shareware version if you need it)
to uncompress the file. Once uncompressed, double click it and it will add
an entry (Edit With) to your right click context menu.
