We spent the night (what little remained of it) at the hotel - but had to
get up for breakfast before 10:00......

There was one guy who got to breakfast, and announced that he was supposed
to be (at that precise time) in mid-air somewhere between London and
somewhere else - my hearing wasn't too good - it cost him £70 to rebook
the flight, and it didn't seem to annoy him at allg

Well, sort of - I spent Wednesday being entertained (in more ways than
one!) by Microsoft at their UK HQ in Reading - and most of Thursday
recovering.

Whaa......the hotel looked very sophisticated, and really quite charming.
I'm sure you all had a great time. As for the other guests......it must
have been one of those "You'll never believe..." kind of events. ;o)

Here Here!! When I attended the PowerPoint Live conference in Tucson, AZ
year before last, it was held at the Radisson Hotel (aka Ratisson) downtown.
The bar didn't open until after 12:00p and closed at 2:00a. That was really
quite a bummer. Especially, when one could only have the first round after
6:00p. I thought I'd never catch up with the rest by 2:00a!! ;o))
