Default iosubsys problem

And I still don't get the point of it! But I see you're not the only one
using it. I mean, not the only Brit, of course - which is the same thing.
There'd be even less point if *only* you used it, wouldn't there. I still
don't see why you can't just open OE and leave it running in the background,
set to check for new messages however often Messenger does.

Or is it that Messenger can be set to poke you with a stick? I can imagine
that would be popular! Particular with other sticks.
