Adjust maximized and default normal window size?
Win 98 SE
17" CRT monitor Desktop resolution set at 800 x 600 Replacement hardware not an option at this time. CRT hardware(firmware) controls of display no longer working. Software solution sought. Display width has crept until it is about 2" wider than will fit on my available screen. CRT is pincushioned, FWIW. I am looking to modify the default WINDOWS maximized and normal window display sizes to fit within my actual display area. (Currently I am bringing all programs up as windowed and adjusting size with the mouse. However, most HTML and textual display matter does not shrink with the window and that is causing problems.) Can a system wide default window size modification be done in WIN 98 SE? If so, how is it done? FACE
