Default One for the books

I have this program "Power DVD' on each hd where i have win98se on one and xp
the other. It works just fine in win98, but i keep getting an error in xp. Now,
I signed on aol with my win98 version and clicked on the XP version from the
other drive...it works. I reinstalled the program in xp and still it won't work
in xp and btw, its a XP version. Now, while in win98 with aol, I lost my sound,
and wondering if me trying to see if Power dvd would work from xp did it.
