I read that one short tone from computer speaker is "Dram Refresh
Failure". What does this mean? JPC

One short beep is a normal start up.

This is after boot up during normal operation not during bootup.

Then it isn't a BIOS beep code since those occur during boot.

Possibly a temperature warning or something else that is set to give an
