Windows ME

I've just started having big problems with win me loading
up.It only loads up with 640x480 pixels and in 16 colors!
I haven't changed settings before this happened and i have
no idea whatsoever why this is happening.When i try to
change settings they just go back to the 1st settings and
theres no 32 bit color either (

Sounds like you may be defaulting to the Safe Mode.....do you see "Safe
Mode" in each corner of your screen?
Assuming that the above is not the case, chances are your video driver has
been lost or become corrupt and your machine is reverting to Standard VGA
mode, which is actually, 800x600x16 colors. Then again, your video card
could be on the fritz (could be as simple as 'reseating' your video card).

If you are, in fact, starting in the Safe Mode, we'll try something else.

I had this same problem recently and after trying everything including
reloading my video drivers I determined my problem was a bad video card. I
replaced it and all has worked well since.
