Must Enable Cookies?
Hi
I am trying to sign into my member account on a website and when I click login it says that I must have cookies enabled to view this page. I have gone to internet options and changed my privacy to accept all cookies and still not working. I have tried everything--emptying temp int files, deleting cookie files, disabling spyware, etc. Nothing is working, also I do not have problems using cookies on any other pages and I have contacted the webpage and they said none of the other members are having problems logging in. Please help!!!! |

Please help!!!! Do you have a firewall that's eating said cookies? Normally that's the problem though some AV software vendors have taken the road of eating cookies too. I'd check there. HandT,
The fact that only one site is giving you problems tells me that it is the site that has the issue, not you. Often if you ignore the error and continue to attempt log-in things will work. When you say you are deleting cookie files, does that include index.dat? If that file is corrupt, you can see problems. http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/archive...rs.htm#cookies -- __________________________________________ Sandi's Site has changed - for instructions on how to find old URLs, go he http://msmvps.com/spywaresucks/archi.../14/46971.aspx Hyperlinks used to ensure advice is current Sandi - Microsoft MVP since 1999 http://inetexplorer.mvps.org Visit the Internet Explorer Community http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...y/default.mspx "HandT" wrote in message ...
