Default task bar

I am not one who knows alot about computers. Somehow I
added 2 things to my task bar and I don't know how to
delete them out of there. Can you explain how to do this
in a way that I may understand? I appreciate this so much.
the two items are Quick Time and the other is
EN stands for english language.
I hope you can help me, Thank You So Much,

Those items should be nothing more than 'links' (.lnk files) to a particular
application. If you are wanting to remove the link and not the app, first
verify that it is, indeed, a link by right clicking the icon and selecting
Properties. The popup window should verify that this is a shortcut or link.
Close that window, right click the icon again and select Delete. You will
probably get a confirmation window informing you that this will NOT remove
the application, only the shortcut. If you are wanting to remove the
application, you should do so through the Control Panel's Add/Remove
feature.
