re install of win 98 config sys
during reboot a line is on top that say error config.sys
line 2 corrupt. whould this have anything to do with my usb's not responding?

The mouse will not work. On boot up I get a message that

As serial mouse uses the serial port, which has nothing to do with USB.

What type of mouse is it? Does it show in Device Manager and are there =
