The laptop is running Windows 98 First Edition. Start/Run, type "regedit" in a box & hit Enter from tab Registry go to Export registry file & save it to some place. Than change/rename/add the *.reg extension to *.wri extension so that WordPad can open it by double clicking it . There go to Edit/replace from tab and write in names you wanna change & click replace. When done save the file. Rename back file extension to previous state & double click on it to import the registry.Restart Win ... Done ! :-) -- Regards , SPAJKY ® mail addr. @ my site @ http://www.spajky.vze.com 7y - "Tualatin OC-ed / BX-Slot1 / inaudible setup!" |
