I have downloaded IE5.5sp2-KB823353-x86-ENU from Microsoft.

The system requirements for the update state that I must have:

Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows ME.

I have Dell 7000 Inspiron Desktop Replacement with 333 MHz Pent ll, 6 Gig
Hard drive, Windows 98 OS and

But I do have IE 5.50.4807.2300 and have been running it for @ 18months

Can I install and run the update IE5.5sp2-KB823353-x86-ENU on my system?
