Default I have a suggestion.

I have a suggestion, microsoft can use phpBB for a microsoft support group,
its a forum like this but realy user freindly, I realy recomend it to
microsoft, I'll tell about it, Here is a list of a couple of features:

Supports popular database servers
Unlimited forums and posts
Multiple language interface
Private or public forums
Powerful search utility
Private messaging system
Complete customisation with templates
And more.

What is phpBB?
phpBB is a high powered, fully scalable, and highly customizable Open Source
bulletin board package. phpBB has a user-friendly interface, simple and
straightforward administration panel, and helpful FAQ. Based on the powerful
PHP server language and your choice of MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL or
Access/ODBC database servers, phpBB is the ideal free community solution for
all web sites

I highly recomend it.

You can have a support team and a moderator team, Are you wondering what a
moderator is??

What are Moderators?
Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to
look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to
edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the
forum they moderate. Generally moderators are there to prevent people going
off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material.

And here is a demo of the Admin panel:
http://www.phpbb.com/admin_demo/index.htm

Like it said up their you can use Private messaging too, but you can disable
it for secerity porpuses or other reasons,

Here is the full list of features:
http://www.phpbb.com/features.php

This is their support community and you'll see what it would look like:

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/

And you can find more info about phpBB here at their site.

he

Users can edit their own posts if the Administrator has it were they can.
The Admin can set a flood control to keep people from spaming, Admins and
mods can have stickies and Anouncements.

When I said about you can have a support group, you can make a group called
Support group and the MVPs can be the support group members and theiy will
have a Moderator's power too, if the admin has to ban someone they can easly
bann the user name, IP, and Email adress. I have been using phpBB and it is
easy, beleave me, microsoft should give it a try. You can use BBcodes.

If you don't know what bbcodes are look he

Isn't that the Web forum software that was "hacked and owned" on tens of
thousands of Web sites a week or so ago due to security flaws? For that
matter, isn't there a new exploit running around that uses phpBB to
propigate?

:-)
