loss of msworks..
I recently transfered a text file directly from NOTEPAD to
works without opening works. In other words I simply transfered the desk top icon of the text item directly over the top of the works Icon. Now, when attempting to open Works I am told this was not a valid WIN32 application. Can anyone tell me what happened and how to fix it. contact me at above email or on yahoo messenger at pjkathome, or yahoo email at Thanks |

Can you open WORKS from Start menu / Programs? If so, then delete the
desktop icon and re-create it. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "pat736" wrote in message ... I recently transfered a text file directly from NOTEPAD to works without opening works. You have an MSWorks icon on the Desktop? R-Clk it, & select Properties.
What do you see? Instead of using that particular icon, can you open MSWorks from the START button menu? -- Thanks or Good Luck, There may be humor in this post, and, Naturally, you will not sue, should things get worse after this, PCR "pat736" wrote in message ... | I recently transfered a text file directly from NOTEPAD to | works without opening works.
