5.1 surround and sound card
Can all sound cards technically deliver 5.1 surround sound? If so, could
someone please help me, I can only get the two front speakers working and the sub, not the center or the sides. I also tried adjusting the sound in control panel to 5.1, but nothing. Thanks. I am running windowsme on a toshiba laptop at 300MMX. Thanks. Logitech X-530 speakers set. |

No. To know what your sound card or chip is capable of producing you need to determine the chipset used.
