Default unicows.dll continued...

In a previous post I asked for help on this matter. After
downloading Adobe Reader 6 and attempting to open it, I
get the error message: Unable to load unicows.dll. I have
verified that this dll is in the Adobe folder, I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the program, etc. I'm at a
loss! Are there any suggestions? Thanks, again.

There are a number of posts at the above site your issue. Some have
found the solution to be installing an older version of Adobe Reader, i.e.
version 5. I don't think this is needed, as I am using version 6 with no
probs. In the event you need an earlier version, you can find it at:

Heirloom, old and 6 works for me

Why not ask Adobe? Heirloom's provided you with a reference. This appears to
be an Adobe Acrobat problem with others also appearing to be experiencing the
same problem.
