Symantec - Speaking Of...
I'm pleased to report that I've seen variations of that report in other
places. The more Symantec do to kill their malware the better I'm pleased. With luck they'll lose all credibility and hopefully fail with the result that the PC world will be a better place for all. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP siljaline wrote: Can I get my Symantec bash in g Norton 2004 - Product Activation... http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1396473,00.asp ~Silj |

Mike, Silj,
Are either of you familiar with NOD32 antivirus? http://www.nod32.com/products/95.htm As I will be converting from NAV in September, I am beginning my quest for the best alternative. Choices at this point are Grisoft AVG (paid version) and this NOD32. Opinions??? Heirloom, old and not looking forward to the uninstall "Mike M" wrote in message ... Heirloom, old and not looking forward to the uninstall I'd go for NOD, Loom - heard only good things about it. http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15 Don't like AVG, but that's just me - everyone's entitled to their A-V choice. And no, I don't run NOD but rather a US based A-V, if I had to change, make that big switch, I'd go for NOD. ~Silj -- siljaline MS - MVP Windows (IE/OE) AH-VSOP ________________________________ Anti-Parasite Definition Updates http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=31 (Reply to group, as return address is invalid - that we may all benefit) |

H!
NOD32 is probably the most popular among the genuine experts (as opposed to, eg, me) on ACV. Followed by Kaspersky and E-Trust. Personally I prefer Kaspersky of the three - besides being very good against viruses/worms it's probably the best anti-trojan prog, better even than the dedicated anti-trojan progs.
