Outlook Express to Outlook... Default?

I am currenly using outlook express but would like to be using outlook as it
has a wider range of functions. I have followed the setup correctly but in
Outlook Express under Tools/Options it is not possible to set any other
program as default. I sthere somewhere else to set this?
