Win98 with Norton Internet Security 2005
Anybody have any experience running Norton Internet Security 2005 on Windows
98 Second Edition. I upgraded from NIS 2004 to NIS 2005. It took about 3 attempts to get NIS properly installed, but after I did, my 5Mbps cable internet connection dropped dramatically. All processor time appears to be diverted to Norton's firewall, I can't even move my mouse while opening up Yahoo. If I disable NIS, every thing runs full speed. My question is has anybody else had this experience? Is it possible that NIS still isn't installed correctly? Thanks. --------------------- Brian
