Default Error Message - WIN95 RPC

Frequently, when closing down my system, I get a "programme not
responding......" message which is headed "WIN95 RPC WMSG WINDOW".
1. As I am running W98 why do I get a message which seems to relate to a W95
application (tried searching in explorer & can find no WIN95 files)
2. How can I stop this happening
3. what software/process (or whatever!) exactly is this message refering to.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Cheers

Alan
