There are no viruses on this PC because I scanned from my main OS with Norton
Antivirus 2005.

Thank you for the assistance but I'll just reinstall the windows (it would
be easier), it had crused and I can not log now into the windows or into the
safe mode.
Last good known configuration didn't help either.

Thanks again.

You may have a virus/spyware hijack

download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC
http://download.nai.com/products/mca...rt/stinger.exe

- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.

Reboot to Safe Mode and run CWShredder - to remove variants of the
CoolWebSearch hijacker.
http://www.merijn.org/cwschronicles.html

Use CWShredder, the removal tool:
http://www.merijn.org/files/cwshredder.zip
http://www.merijn.org/files/CWShredder.exe
http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads...CWShredder.exe
http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads/CWShredder.zip

download AdAware from www.lavasoftusa.com, install, update, and run it to
remove spyware, adware,
and other such nasties from your system.

There is no such thing as last known configuration in ME!

Norton is NOT as good as it likes to think it is - and is perfectly useless
against modern commercial malware.

If you really want to reinstall ME over itself (which I suspect will NOT
solve your problem), then look here for instructions first!

same file, less then a second.

What can be a couse of this?
Can it be the problem that WinME can't handle more
then
512MB
of
RAM?

Last good configuration is applicable ONLY to XP - and has nothing
whatsoever to do with ME.

I can only surmise that somehow you've managed to confuse the two OS's - in
more ways than one.

I hava a last good configuration mode maybe because I have a winXP insalled
as well, and I will probably will delete the folders: "_Restore", "Program
Files" and "Windows" before I install the windows again.

Thanks for the help.

There is no such thing as last known configuration in ME!

Norton is NOT as good as it likes to think it is - and is perfectly
useless
against modern commercial malware.

If you really want to reinstall ME over itself (which I suspect will NOT
solve your problem), then look here for instructions first!

There are no viruses on this PC because I scanned from my main OS with
Norton
Antivirus 2005.

Thank you for the assistance but I'll just reinstall the windows (it
would
be easier), it had crused and I can not log now into the windows or
into
the
safe mode.
Last good known configuration didn't help either.

Thanks again.
