KB891711
Uhuh, for quite a while! It hasn't caused a BLOD since March,
bellringer! That was a rare, orderly Fatal Exception 0D that did not take down the whole system, but actually would continue after pressing any key! -- Thanks or Good Luck, There may be humor in this post, and, Naturally, you will not sue, should things get worse after this, PCR "bellringer" wrote in message ... | KB891711 fixed and OK to download yet? | | |

KB891711
As the others have stated, it's been fixed for over half a year. If you still have
the old one installed, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and End Task on Kb891711, if shown there; then uninstall the update through Add\Remove Programs. Whether or not you have uninstalled it previously, make sure to delete this folder, and all its contents: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KB891711 You should then be able to get the current version of 891711 through Windows Update. -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP Shell/User, A+ http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "bellringer" wrote in message ...
