Defrag and safe mode
I too am having problems with defrag restarting and I
can't start my computer in safe mode. I have tried F8 and can't find Boot.ini in ms config

Wrong key--after the memory count, either hold down or rapidly tap the Ctrl
key. The documented KEY is CTRL.
