Default Minimized Boot up

When I am booting up my machine, the Windows splash screen
& the writing is minimized to about 1/2 of the screen or
less. Some websites I visit are also minimized within the
browser. I don't know what made the machine begin doing
this. Can anyone help put all the screens back to the full
blown size that it was before?

Check your display settings and in ControlPanel/System/DeviceManager
check on the status of your videocard and monitor. Maybe remove all
instances of each and reboot, to allow Windows to install "fresh"
versions of each. Ensure for the monitor that "Detect Plug'n'Play
Monitor is checked".

That's actually normal. There are ways of making sure a webpage that
you've written is viewable in whatever screen resolution people are
looking at it, but I'm not aware that any websites actually do this...
so sometimes it's too big, sometimes too small and occasionally just right.

I don't know what made the machine begin doing
this. Can anyone help put all the screens back to the full
blown size that it was before?
