Window's Protection Error System Halted (Blue screen)

Hi my dad has a major problem with His P.c he can get into Windows using Safe mode but when he tries to start up normally (Window's Protection Error System Halted you need to restart your p.c) does any one know whats wrong and how he can fix it

Assuming it "just happened - for no apparent reason" then as it boots into
Safe Mode
let it continue to the Help Console and halfway down the Help page select
System Restore.

Roll-back to the time/date *before* he had the problem and hopefully that
should get
your dad's PC back to normal again.

If the problem remains, then come back and we can try a different approach.
