Windows 98SE download shutdown

I have reinstalled windows 98 SE, and I am trying to
download new updates, My computer will download the files
but when it is installing them the computer will reset
itself just like someone pushed the reset button. Then
Sandisk comes on and we load windows again. Does someone
know why this is happening? would appreciate any help.

Troubleshooter: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

Newsgroup: microsoft.public.windowsupdate or if you access the newsgroups
with Internet Explorer, scroll down the Community List to Other Newsgroups,
click it and Windows Update, General. Posting to the correct newsgroup will
probably be more beneficial.
