Default problem with 98 network

I used to have my windows 98 network working fine with the
TCP/IP ip address obtained automatically but now it won't
work anymore. I tried redoing the network but it just
doesn't work. I have a desktop and a laptop set up on a
wireless network. Whenever I enter ip addresses for the
two computers my internet won't work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks
