Default Hibernate Mode Freeze

Hi,

I just reinstaled Windows Me on my Dell Dimension 4300.
Everything was fine until I downloaded IE 6.x. After the
restart it went into Hibernate Mode (by itself). I could
not get out of Hibernate Mode so I restarted the machine
and a message pops up saying "that the Hibernate Mode
failed to exit correctly do I wish to disable the
Hibernate Mode?" I said yes the screen goes blank and
after multipal restarts the machine goes strait into
Hibernate Mode.
Why is this happening? What can I do to fix this? If I
must reinstal the software again what can I do to avoid
this from happening?

Thank You in advance!

Moti

use your floppy startup disk with controll+alt and F8 all

at once till you get Normal hit
Enter
next
chose #3 option
A:now type C: Hit enter
C:scandisk Hit enter

no log
delete crosslinks
free Lost files
check files for ALL of them
check promt
check report
Hit ok
Type of test is: standard
run it and fix everything then it goes back to C:
at C:scanreg hit enter
fix it, back it up
back to C:
