Printer Timeout Error Message
Hi folks,
Thanks in advance for your help. We are on a small Windows TCP/IP network at the office. We have an HP1220C large format deskjet that is local to a Windows ME box. We print architectural plans on it locally and over the wire. It often gives a Printer Timeout message (it is set to 60.) I have tried increasing the timeout a little without much effect. We get the message whether printing locally or over the wire. Most of the time it will eventually print and the message will go away, sometimes it will just hang the application. How do I find out what is the proper setting for this particular printer and in changing the setting what other problems should I be on the lookout for? Thanks, Jeff |
