Default explorer does not display cd files

Both my cdroms no longer display files from explorer. If I put in a cd, it
know there is one there but does not display files. If I start in dos mode I
can see the files.

Got the same problem, only it affects ALL removable drives, i.e.,
floppy A:, both CD ROMS, a USB ZIP100 drive and an EIDE Sparq. Hard
drives seem ok, but system is slower than before. Hardware is OK -
I've checked that out in DOS.

Did you do any defragging or registry work before the problem? Run a
virus scan? I've run a full system virus scan, but found no problem.
