Memory key for Win 98
Hi:
I need to install a USB memory key and have WIN98. I have loaded the drivers that come with the memory key and it's still not working. I also downloaded a "fix" from MS website but is still not recognizing the device. What would you recomend me to do? Thank you JUAN |

Contact the maker of the memory key. Is it possible you have W98 and the
key requires W98 SE? -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Juan" wrote in message ... That is no longer true. Many USB 2 boards now have Windows 98 drivers
(in some cases, 98SE only, in other cases both 98 & 98SE). The OP will need a pen drive that has a driver for Windows 98 (or 98SE). Many such USB Flash drives do exist, but not all such drives have a 98/98SE driver. All of them will work with USB 1, although those that support USB 2 will work faster if it's available.
