computer does not wake up from standby

When I move the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard to wakeup from
standby the monitor stays black. I can hear the harddrive waking up but
the monitor just stays on standby. I have installed all the updated
drivers and patches for the videocard and still it does not fix it.

HELP ME!

....Is it checked "Reset display on suspend/resume"?

yes...but I correct the problem SWITCHING OFF THE WEBCAM from USB port!
