Default missing information on some Internet pages & Windows explorer.

I recently attempted to re-install W98 (with mixed success and a few
problems) If I have Windows Explorer set to "view as web page" then I cannot
see any information in the right hand panel. ( It all re-appears when untick
this option). This may be connected in some way to the fact that on some web
sites I do not get all the information displayed. Some web pages display
perfectly well & I can sign into secure sites with passwords etc. but on a
couple of sites that I have visited the details on the sign in page do not
appear at all & so I cannot get into the site, while on Symantec I cannot
see the options on some of their drop-down menus. Any ideas on this one?
