Product Key
Trying to re-install Win ME. Lost product key, found key
using AIDA32 v3.70 and through PC registry Editor - both read the same, however, dialogue box states the key is still incorrect. Anyone know of a way round this??

Product Key
If your system was pre-installed then the key in the registry is probably the
key used to create the image that was then transferred to your PC which is why it won't work with the media you are using and you will instead need to use the personal key that was supplied with the CD and disk. You could try contacting the computer manufacturer for help. By the way, why are you reinstalling Win Me?
