Default TaskManager causes clock to stop

Hi everybody

When I open TaskManager on my WinMe machine, the clock in the system
tray stops.
Is this normal?
I cannot think why there should be any connection between TM and the
clock.
However, when I shutdown TaskManager the clock resumes at the CORRECT
time.

Note that I use TclockEx to provide the date and day of week in the
clock "box".

TIA
Paul

Yes. Remember that Win Me unlike say XP has no Task Manager as such and
when you press CAD the system is waiting for a further response from the
user with most process suspended whilst waiting.

OK. Thank you Mike.
I was unaware of this but I've learnt something today

Been using Tclockex for ages with WinME and never noticed
the clock stopped before.
