Default OLDREST folder

Hi
Im my C:/ theres a folder called OLDREST and when im doin
a scan of my drive it takes forever to get through because
this folder seems to have an awful lot of files.
Inside this folder is:
5 files
ARCHIVE folder - 910 files
EXTRACT folder - 0 files
LOGS folder - 4 files
SFP folder - 0 files
TEMP folder - 65534 files
I was jus wondering is this folder allowed to be cleared
in any way?

I think this folder was once created when our System
Restore program wasnt working properly..

Thanks for youre help in advance!

Delete it. It appears that at some time you booted to DOS and renamed the
C:\_RESTORE folder to OLDREST and then forgot to delete the renamed folder
once back in Win Me. Both Noel Paton and myself make frequent posts that
include this as part of a number of fixes involving system restore.

Given the number of files in the TEMP folder I suspect the problem was the
infamous "Windows Could Not Upgrade the File %1 from %2 %1: % 2" error.
